Home furnishings executive to lead Furniture Design Studios marketing team

Huntington NY, March 29, 2010 —Ken Salm, has joined the Furniture Design Studios management team as President of Sales and Marketing, it was announced today by president Charles Monaco. Salm, former senior vice president of Sales and Business Development for Douglas Furniture, with 30 years of experience in the furniture industry. His tenure includes management positions with some of the top brands in the industry, including La-Z-Boy, Stearns & Foster, Simmons and Sealy. ”We are excited to have such an experienced industry executive on our team,” says Monaco, “His contribution will allow us to expand on what we do best; service our client base with cost effective, exclusive designs and manufacturing.” Salm’s position is effective immediately.
